Training will be conducted following the guidelines of Climb On Safely, Topping Out, and the BSA National Standards. 
Both the areas of climbing and rappelling will be covered.

Registration will begin at 6:00 pm with classes starting at 7:00 pm.  During the Wednesday night session, we will cover rope care, knots, webbing, equipment, and an overview of the training course.  The weekend will cover climbing and rappelling activities, planning and presenting excursions, gear selection, rigging and rescue; .with many hours of hands on training.  It is highly recommended that both sessions be attended, so please mark your schedules accordingly. 

Training, food, lodging, and materials will be provided for $75.00.  As part of your enrollment fee you will be given a professionally bound training manual, reference CD, a Prusik sling, and a t-shirt.  If desired, you will be housed in cabins. 
You will need to bring clothing appropriate for the weather, personal gear, sleeping bag, and toiletry items.  You may bring personal harnesses and helmets, but they will be inspected.
