What:    Scoutmaster Fundamentals Training
Who:    SMs / ASMs and Committee members
When:  Saturday Sep 13th, 2008
Where:  Camp Michaels Lodge
How:     3 Training Modules presented over the day; 8:00 to 4:00 Donuts and lunch are included in the $15 fee

This training session is intended not just for the registered leaders in your Troop, but for any of the other adults that are interested in helping the Scouting program move forward.  These 3 training modules are designed to provide a deeper look at the motives and methods that are used to really make the boy-led Troop function smoothly. 
Topics covered will include Troop organization, planning and running a top-notch program, recruiting and retention, and making the advancement program really work.

Each Troop in the Trailblazer District is encouraged (challenged!) to send a representative to this training - one of the biggest values from this session is the opportunity to share ideas with other Scouters!   Stay up to date with what the other Troops in Trailblazer District are doing.   Especially encouraged to attend are our young Assistant Scoutmasters, Scouts that have recently turned 18;  these young men figure strongly in the future of our program...
